The castle was built in 1880 by the architects Bosmans et Vandeveld and transformed later on in 1905 by Brunfaut. It is located in a listed green area – Natura 2000. The restauration of this building requires a special building permit that will be granted for its restauration and a change of function.

The philosophy behind the project aims to rehabilitate the façades and has a different attitude towards the missing roof – which has been reinterpreted in a contemporary vision.
